The portfolio of brands produced by S&P Industries is something out of the 1950s. Its beers were among some of the nation’s biggest regional breweries during the postwar era.

Now, the breweries are all gone. S&P’s beers exist in name only. Among its brands:

  • Pabst Blue Ribbon – “What’ll you have? “
  • Pearl – “Brewed in Eleven Hundred Springs, Texas. “
  • Lone Star – “The national beer of Texas. “
  • Old Milwaukee – “It just doesn’t get any better than this. “
  • Schlitz – “When you’re out of Schlitz, you’re out of beer. “
  • Narragansett – “Hi, neighbor! Have a ‘Gansett! “
  • Rainier – “Naturally brewed mountain-fresh beer. “
  • Schmidt – “One beautiful beer. “
  • Schaefer – “When you’re having more than one. “
  • Stroh – “Fire Brewed at 2000 degrees! “
  • Old Style – “Heart of the heartland. “

It also produces several malt liquors and specialty brews, including:
